About The Event
Simple and gentle yoga and meditation designed to relieve stress, restore the nervous system, improve mental health, boost immunity & increase vitality. This series is safe for beginners and all-levels of yoga practice. The intention is to provide you with a safe space, in community, every week -- to connect with your body in a safe and gentle way, while also having an opportunuity to take the tools and practices you learn with you into your daily life. You will finish this series feeling rejuvented, grounded, centered, embodied, calm, stable, stronger, more energized, and capable of facing life's challenges.
-Six 90-min sessions that include short lecture, yoga practice, meditaiton, and discussion
-Weekly recording of a meditation to do at home
-One 30-min counseling call to provide additional support
What style of yoga?
We will be practicing a variety of different styles. Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin & Kundalini. All of the yoga sessions will be taught at a slower pace with an emphasis on mindful movement. The intention to help the body feel safe which allows us to let go of fear, feel safe in the body, and restore the nervous system. It is accessible for beginners and all-levels.

It's during dinner time, when will I eat?
I would recommend having a big lunch on the day we have our class and then having a light snack before and eating dinner after. You don't want to eat a big meal before our class, yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach, but you also don't want to be 'hangry' during our practice so make sure you plans meals/snacks accordingly!
What about COVID, vaccines, etc?
I am not requiring a vaccine to join this series. I am not vaccinated because of personal reasons. If this doesn't make you feel safe then this series is not for you. If you have any cold/fly symptons I will ask you to refrain from coming to class. You are not required to wear a mask for our sessions, but if you personally feel more safe wearing a mask then you are most welcome to wear one. I am not requiring that you get a Covid test. If this doesn't make you feel safe then this is not the series for you. I will not engage in any debates about this. I am limiting the amount of people who can join so that we can keep a safe distance, there will be a hepa filter in the room, and I will follow strict sanitizing protocol to prevent the spread. I personally believe it's unhealthy to separate people and to live our lives online. We need human interaction. If you are immuno-compromised and don't feel safe then I don't recommend this series. I have online offerings for you. I believe (from extensive research) that if we are genergally healthy and have a good immune system, and catch it early enough that the survival rate is very high. Again, if none of this makes you feel safe then this is not the series for you. I respect your beliefs, your personal views and experiences, and I am not interested in debating.
