Kate kindly hosted us to an amazing morning of Yoga, I am not normally a yoga practicer however Kate made it so fun and enjoyable and legit made me laugh and smile till my face hurt, Kate opened my mind up to yoga, she made me appreciate that it is for everyone! that you don’t need to know the names of the moves or how to do them, that yoga is fun, spontaneous and an absolute giggle fest, it’s freeing, relaxing and the best way to set intentions, Kate is pure heart of gold and I absolutely recommend that everyone be blessed by her and her yoga. -Carita G.
The gist of it...
This series was created with the intention to guide women home their truth through sisterhood, movement, meditation, and ritual so that you feel embodied and connected deeply to you inner wisdom, so you may live authentically & courageously, and step fully in your power.
This series can be done online only, in-person, or a combination of both. We will have 3 in-person sessions at Summit Lotus Yoga & Massage in Downtown Truckee (see dates below). The other 3 sessions we will meet online via Zoom. If you aren't familiar with Zoom it is very easy to use from your computer or phone, and I am happy to assist you with that.

TRUCKEE IN-PERSON SCHEDULE

Day/Time: Wednesdays 6-8pm (We will meet in person 3 out of the 6 Wednesdays of the series)
Session 1: October 23 6-8pm
Session 2: November 6th, 2019 6-8pm
Session 3: November 20th, 2019 6-8pm
*Please remember to eat a light dinner around 4 or 5 if possible. I don't recommend coming hungry, or overly full.
Location: We will meet online on live video via Zoom. You will need a good internet connection, and I recommend a space that's quiet and comfortable where you will not be interrupted. You will need a mat, journal, and water. Treat it with the same care and attention as if you were in a studio/class setting.
Day/Time: Wednesdays 12-1:30pm (for those who are joining us for the in-person session in Truckee, for the weeks that we are not meeting you will join us live at this time (if possible). If you are unable to join live then you can catch the replay at your earliest convenience.

The nitty gritty...
We will gather in a circle style ceremony for each in-person session. For our live sessions we will just use our imagination and envision we are in circle with our sisters (: Every session we will practice some Kundalini yoga, breath work, meditation, gentle flowing movements, deep stretching, journaling, dance, and sharing. Here are the specific themes for each session;
Oct 23-Nov 5 / Theme: DEVOTION
We will focus on getting clear about our WHY. Why do you want to do this series? Why do you do the work that you do? Why do you surround yourself with the people you surround yourself with? As we uncover the answers to these questions we start to sift through what's in alignment with our truth and what is not. We will set an intention to devote to the truth of our being, devote to ourselves, devote to our health & happiness, devote to self-love, devote to supporting our sisters, devote to our purpose. We will embody the art of devotion through practice, journaling, sharing, and more. We will focus on completing the following;
-Introduce yourself and share your greatest challenge currently
-Build an altar in your home (if you already have an altar remodel/update/clean the altar)
-Write out our intentions for the series, and our big WHY
-Identify core values and set action items that connect with our core values
-Learn the Kundalini meditation that we will be doing everyday for 40-days (your will receive a video of this meditation as well)
-Craft your own personal self-care ritual & mark it on your calendar weekly
-Find an accountability partner (either in the group, or someone in your life that you trust very much and that will hold you accountable)
Nov 6-Nov 19 / Theme: CREATION
-Learn about the moon cycles & how they relate to our mentrual cycles, the seasons & manifestation
-Healthy poses & practices for women focusing on hips & heart
-Define how you want to feel in your daily life
-Define what you are creating in your life and why, determining small action steps towards what you desire
Nov 20 - post-series / Theme: INTEGRATION
The most challenging part about finishing an empowering workshop or retreat is keeping the momentum and high vibration going. Keeping up with the healthy habits and integrating them into your daily life. This session will be focused on giving you tips and tools to continue with your practice and take it with you into "life after the series".
-Learn about how neuroscience can help you rewire your brain to create more affirming thoughts and habits (Change your mind, Change your life)
-Mantras & Affirmations
-Write your own Prayer
-Manifesting & Magic
-Determine how you want to show up in your life and specific action items that you can implement post-series.
Throughout the series I will be available for support, to answer questions, and you also may book one-on-one coaching sessions with me if you are looking for additional guidance.

This series is designed to "shake you up & wake you up", a phrase that comes from the Kundalini yoga tradition.
